The Producer's Way

Course Outline

Module 1 | Introduction

Summary

In this introduction to The Development Project under The Producer’s Way, listeners are invited into a transformational journey from "Arrested Development"—a state of being stuck emotionally or spiritually due to early life survival patterns—toward "Abiding Development", where true growth happens through learning to depend on God rather than oneself or others. The speaker shares that while early life shaping may have caused damage, this project aims to foster real maturity and internal growth. Listeners are encouraged to prepare themselves to hear truths that may challenge old patterns and help them shift toward the life they were truly meant to live.

Hey everybody, come on in to The Producer's Way. I'm so glad that we are in this together.

And what is this? Well, this is The Development Project here at The Producer's Way. It's where we are going to move from being in arrested development—where we got stuck in life—to learning what it really means to shift and transition into abiding development, where we let God raise us.

I’ve often said, “My first raising almost killed me.” Alright—can anybody out there relate? Now, that's not me just blaming my parents or pointing fingers. What I’m saying is that every one of us comes into this world separated from God, and we’re left to ourselves. We’re left to whatever others are willing and able to give us.

And that is part of why, as we grow and develop, we often get stuck. We get arrested. We shut down. We stop maturing internally because we’re just trying to survive. And survival, my friends, is not the same as living.

So let me stop here so we can get on with Module One of The Development Project.

I hope you’re ready—because we’re stepping in. You're going to encounter some truth, maybe in a way you’ve never heard it before. But if you are hungry to come out of those stuck places—where you've been depending on yourself, maybe overly dependent on others—and you want to hear how God truly meant for you to live, then stay tuned.

Get comfortable, get ready—grab your coffee, your tea, whatever helps you focus—because we’re about to dive in.

As you shift from being self-dependent and stuck to developing a greater dependence on God, I know you're going to begin to really live the way you were meant to.

I’m looking forward to taking this journey together.
Here we go.
